The Office of Missing Persons and Forensic (OMPF) invites sealed bids from qualified Suppliers for the supply of medical apparatus and laboratory equipment, Medical Examiners Office.
Bidding will be conducted through international open competitive bidding.

Interested Bidders are invited to obtain the Bidding Documents by submitting a written request to the address indicated below.
Bids must be delivered to the office at the address given below on or before 30 June at 15:00 hours local time (+1 CET) in a sealed envelope marked with “Offers for the Supply of Medical Examiners Office Medical apparatus and laboratory equipment - Do Not Open Before 30 June 2003 at 15:15 hours”. Bids sent by e-mail or facsimile will not be accepted. The Bid prices shall be quoted in EURO only.
Please note that Bids submitted in Lots, as specified in the Bidding Documents, will be accepted.
Please note that a Bid Security in the amount of EUR 20,000.00 (EURO twenty thousand ONLY) must accompany the Bid.
Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders` representatives who choose to attend on 30 June 2003 at 15:15 hours at the address indicated below.

FIELD MOTOR VEHICLES
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The United Nations Development Programme/Inter-Agency Procurement Services Office (UNDP/IAPSO), acting on behalf of the United Nations (UN) system of organizations and assisted programs, intends to issue an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the supply of Field Motor Vehicles.
Only companies with experience of supplying relevant products to a range of developing countries on a world-wide basis will be considered qualified.
Successful bidders will be awarded Long-Term Agreements for the supply of vehicles in one or more of the categories listed below. Long-Term Agreements are anticipated to run from November 2003 for a period of two years.
Bids will be requested for the supply of motor vehicles in the following categories:
Sedan 1500cc - 1799cc; WB 2400-2800mm
Sedan 1800cc - 2399cc; WB 2400-2800mm
Station Wagon 1500cc - 1799cc; WB 2400-2800mm
Station Wagon 1800cc - 3000cc; WB 2400-2800
4WD on/off road 1300cc - 2199cc; WB 2000-2600mm (SWB)
4WD on/off road 2200cc - 3199cc; WB 2300-2600mm (SWB)

Expressions of interest should be received by the undersigned by 13th June 2003.
Sealed bids for the supply of the above equipment will be solicited from short-listed manufacturers or their appointed distributors with local representations, capable of providing pre-delivery inspection, warranty and after-sales service in a range of developing countries.
Manufacturers should include in their expression of interest a list of countries to which they are able to export and provide warranty and after-sales service.
Manufacturers’ subsidiaries should include in their expression of interest proof from their parent company of authorization to supply and provide warranty and after-sales service in a named range of countries.
Distributors should include in their expression of interest proof from the relevant manufacturer(s) of authorization to supply and provide warranty and after-sales service in a named range of countries.
All bids will be evaluated based on compliance with the established UN standard specifications, availability of local service and warranty, delivery time and the combined cost of (1) vehicle FOB, (2) spare parts, (3) delivery time and (4) selected major options.
It is anticipated that bidding documents will be issued to short-listed suppliers on 1st July 2003.
As the bidding process will be done substantially electronically via the internet, a Pre-Bid Conference will be held in Copenhagen for representatives of short-listed bidders who choose to attend. This conference will allow short-listed bidders to familiarize themselves with the electronic bidding process. It is anticipated that this Pre-Bid Conference will be held in the first week of July.
It should be noted that the UNDP/IAPSO is not obliged to invite any particular potential supplier who has expressed interest in this project to participate in the subsequent bidding process.
